Inspired by the individual experiences of the nine high school girls throughout the play, I created a naturalistic, diegetically sourced sound design that grew and changed in intensity.

The “field that goes on forever”, as indicated in the script, became my inspiration when building the soccer stadium through sound. 

I was also inspired by women empowerment, creating a soundscape of stadium pre show music that highlighted the girl's friendship and strength together.

Utilizing Dante and various effects in Qlab, I created a soundscape of wooshing winds, flickering lights, and room tones throughout the space. Each scene was analyzed using a tensity chart to execute the levels and pitches each sound created.
